About the Designer
Atlanta has been a city known to produce some of the world's most talented people and this Sicilian & Black beauty is no exception to the trend.
Monique is more familiar than you realize. You have undoubtedly seen her dominate the screen in over 30 music videos for artists such as 'Nelly','Ludacris', 'Master P', 'Nas' & 'Fabulous' to name a few. Turning her infamous stage name; "Whyte Chocolate; into a hip hop household name it what seemed like a milli-second. A former No Limit Soldier, was signed to the multi-platinum recording labels, No Limit Records & Universal Records after her film appearence in the So So Def film "On the Come Up".
This Atlanta eye-candy continued to keep the scene hot gracing the pages of XXL Magazine, The Source Magazine, Black Men's Magazine; 101 Sexiest Women, the Boost Mobile Commercials, as well as the MTV Making of The Video series & BET Behind The Scenes including appearences on the hit countdown show BET 106 & Park. Monique continued on to live theatre headlining in the hit stage play "Secrets Men Keep" selling out the Atlanta Civic Center. Later securing a role in the Warners Brothers hit movie "ATL" with rap sensation 'T.I.' which grossed over $11 million dollars opening weekend.
Beauty has its perks but pair that with talent and intelligence... there's no telling what could happen. Monique started GlitterTees in 2002 making good use of her graphic design training.
"Being in the entertainment industry requires that I am seen and remembered. I've taken that same philosophy and applied it to real life. Every business wants to be seen & every person wants to be remembered. When something catches your eye what do you do? Look! And then you look again! Glitter has that effect".
She currently resides in Texas with her husband; Demorrio, her son; Dee & newest addition- daughter Isabella.
